Appreciating change.
Moving around is a big part of my life; it always has been and always will be. Moving—whether it’s houses, countries, jobs, friend groups, traveling, or even rearranging your mind—is essential for cleansing your energy and making space for more growth. Starting afresh has many forms, and there’s no perfect way to do it. You can even choose to change who you are every single day. You were given the blessing of choice, so use it as many times as you want. You’re not here to please anyone, and you’re certainly not here to conform to social ideals. My advice is to go against everything you know and believe, but most importantly, go against yourself. Argue with yourself, test your beliefs and your reality. Converse with yourself like no other. Dive so deep as if you are the eternal force that created everything around you—because the truth is, you are.
Beauty is hidden in the parts of yourself that remain no matter how hard you try to alter them. You shouldn’t care if they are flaws or not because perfection is nothing but a myth. However, we can certainly choose what we admire about ourselves and lead with that. No matter how much we change, we remain authentically ourselves each day. Some parts are engraved and are forever authentic to us, while others are not. To figure out which is which, you need to stop trying to figure it out—there is nothing to figure out. The more you get to know yourself, the more you change. You start shedding light on new sides of yourself that exist only in this moment. Even if they have been tucked away for years, you’re only seeing them now. There’s no better time than now—how beautiful!
The more you open your heart to the beauty all around you, the more you’ll get to know yourself. Parts of you open up when you connect with something beyond yourself. A blink of bliss occurs, dots start to connect, and your self-appreciation grows astronomically. To appreciate the depth of all existence is equal to self-discovery and change. Lead with openness.
