The essence of you
Updated: Oct 7
With each passing day, we fall more in love with the people, places, and hobbies that feel familiar to us. Yet, as time goes by, we also lose that sense of familiarity, seeking and questioning what everything around us truly means. Your present life may appear unchanged from yesterday—nothing may seem different—and still, there will be days when you feel as though you’ve lost the meaning of it all. You might feel disconnected, like a beautiful lily floating in a muddy green pond. Life will always feel like a mixture of everything it is supposed to be. Every feeling, every pain, every love, every occurrence, and every discovery exists to be experienced by and with you. What is life without experience? What is life without the depth within you that’s waiting to unfold? This depth and complexity exist within all of us, yet many people become lost by losing their presence—the most essential part of truly living. Even the simplest people you’ve met hold incredible truth and countless untold stories within them.
What I’m trying to convey is that your life experiences are a reflection of you—not entirely, but mostly. You have the freedom to choose what you want to identify with. You get to interpret it all in any way you desire. Life is always happening; it will never stop moving, not even for you. Nature will continue to bloom, leaves will lose their vibrancy, the air will grow colder, and earthquakes will shake the ground. Don’t question the natural flow of existence; instead, question where you stand in relation to it all. Even earthquakes can ground you if you choose to align with their vibrational shift. I like to believe that my essence, my perspective, is what truly matters, but I can’t help loving how my life has shaped who I am today.
The essence of you is, and always will be, everything in this existence. Your value stems and grows from how you choose yourself each day. Imagine waking up with complete freedom—self-belief, confidence, and mental liberation. It’s the only freedom you truly need, and it is created by you every day. You are the one experiencing it all, the force driving your life, and you get to decide what matters to you. Become aware of who is living your life, because it is nothing and no one else but you. What you choose to become is your decision, so give yourself the space to live a little.
